Group Manager Engineering Electrical and Mechanical (m/f/d)

We are a fast moving company pushing into the renewable energy space, with a good portfolio of existing projects under our belt, with a clear mission to fight energy poverty in Africa and make energy sustainable worldwide. We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Engineering to join our Pfullendorf team.

You will play a crucial part in structuring and building our engineering department as well as technically project managing our new product development

Your duties

  • Project Management for the development of our new products; you will be managing an interdisciplinary dev team 

  • Development of the system and project organization in the area of engineering

  • Design, optimize and establish relevant specialist and development processes

  • You lead, coach and develop your team

  • Work closely with purchasing, quality, production, external development partners, suppliers and customers

  • You will be the right hand of our CTO and play a crucial part in the future innovation and product development of Off-Grid products

Your profile

  • 5+ years of experience in leading and managing interdisciplinary teams and/or projects in an international environment

  • You are smart and have an extraordinary understanding of engineering principals

  • Your degree or lack thereof is not important - you achievements are what matters and you will be interview and measured accordingly

  • As we are a small team you need to be a very hands-on, independent and proactive person

  • You share our enthusiasm for making a difference on this planet and love to actively shape your area of responsibility

  • In this position excellent communication and planning skills are mandatory
